After the sudden return of renewal sessions of State security prosecution (SSSP) after suspending for 20 months after starting Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020, The Egyptian Front for Human Rights monitored on 5 December 2021 presenting dozens of defendants before SSSP to renew their imprisonment orders in cases, among them, the defendant Dawlat Yahia, who is accused of joining a terrorist group and funding it. Worth noting that Dawlat has been imprisoned for more than two years and a half since her arrest on 15 April 2019, which is put in another case three months after she was released in the previous case.
