Today, 9th February, 2022, the Supreme State Security Prosecution (SSSP) imprisoned The Constitution Party member (El-Dostour) Haitham Al-Banna for 15 days, on Case No. 41 of the year 2022 State Security with accusations of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and misusing social media platforms.
Haitham appeared before the persecution, after his enforced disappearance for ten days, since his arrest on January 30 2022. He was detained in the Old Cairo (Masr Al-Qadima) Police station, then in the Mokattam Police station, where he stayed until his appearance today before SSSP. It is worth noting that the SSSP faced him with Posts from his personal Twitter account containing content on the commemoration of the 25th January revolution anniversary.
