SSSP accused detainees in the El-Sallam Police station of spreading false news after they published a video about torture inside the station

The Egyptian Front for Human Rights monitored the investigation of the State Security Prosecution on February 16 with at least eight persons detained in the El-Sallam Police Station (East Cairo) on Case No. 95/ 2022 State Security on accusations of participating in a terrorist group, spreading false news, and having a phone without a license, in places where they don’t have permission to have in it. After publishing a video containing detainees in the police stations claiming that they face torture by the security officers inside the police stations, which is covered by the Guardian newspaper previously.
These people are: Osama Ibrahim Abdel Dayem, Mahmoud Fawzy Madani, Tamer Khaled Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Hussein Ahmed Ali, Mohamed El Sayed Ali Ali, Hani El Sayed Ahmed Abbas, Mina Samir, Abanob Issa
It is worth noting that the Public Prosecution had published a statement on February 15 in which it said that these detainees were lying in terms of they have been tortured. And after investigations, it had concluded that they had inflicted injuries on their bodies by themselves, then they filmed and broadcasted the clip.
